LID Stands with Morales' Campaign Workers

LID stands in solidarity with labor and the right to organize for all workers. Several of our members have themselves faced abuse and endured the harsh conditions associated with campaigns. We know the unique challenges, demanding schedules, and pressures field organizers face. Workers should never face retaliation simply for organizing, or demanding an equitable work place.
They deserve to be treated with dignity.

When we endorsed Dianne it was in part because of her willingness to listen and her commitment to working people everywhere. We hope that faith in her was not misplaced, just as we hope she will do the right thing by serving as an example to candidates everywhere.

LID is first and foremost a club for queer people, run by queer people, and dedicated to getting queer people elected, and that's what we will continue to focus on doing: getting our slate of queer candidates elected. With less than a month until election day, we will be dedicated to volunteering for and promoting the campaigns of queer progressives like Crystal Hudson, Wilfred Florentino, Jacqui Painter, Josue Pierre, and Chi Ossé.
