LID marched with their sister club, Stonewall Democratic Club of New York City, at World Pride on Sunday. On the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, it is more important than ever for clubs like LID and SDNYC to march and raise awareness to the need to not only be allies, advocates, and activists - but also to vote.

With a strong turnout in attendees, both clubs marched down fifth avenue and towards the Stonewall Inn where they were greeted by thousands of excited onlookers. LID is proud to have marched and looks forward to another 50 years of Pride.
