Celebrate Brooklyn's queer representation in elected office!
Brooklyn is represented by two queer people of color in the New York City Council in 2022 - Crystal Hudson and Chi Ossé. Council Members Hudson and Ossé also happen to represent the districts where Brooklyn Community Pride Center's two facilities operate in Bed-Stuy and Crown Heights.
Lambda Independent Democrats and Brooklyn Community Pride Center will host a reception to celebrate our new LGBTQ Caucus members on Monday, February 28 at the brand new Brooklyn Community Pride Center Crown Heights, located on the lower ground floor of the Major R. Evans Health & Wellness Community Center.
We invite you to come meet Crystal and Chi, experience the Brooklyn Center's new space, and connect with other friends of the Center and LID.
Record of vaccination is required to enter the building and masks are required in all public areas.
