The Democratic National Convention is just around the corner, and the presidential race is heating up.

Since LID is an independent organization, our members vote to make our endorsement decisions separately in each race - including for the Democratic nominee in the race for President.

We will also be discussing, and voting, on whether or not to endorse an initiative on this year’s ballot which amends the New York State Constitution to prohibit discrimination based on ethnicity, national origin, age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and pregnancy.
