Lambda Independent Democrats of Brooklyn ("LID") is Brooklyn’s only LGBTQIA+ political club. LID was founded by a group of activists in Boerum Hill in early 1978 and has grown to become one of the state’s largest LGBTQIA+ political clubs.

Join us in kicking off Pride month by reflecting on our community's commitment to Pride and Progress over the years.
