The NY Presidential Primary may be cancelled, but there are still critical races on the ballot on June 23! Given the COVID-19 crisis, it is important to consider casting your ballot by mail instead of in-person.

What:
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, all registered, eligible voters may apply to vote by Absentee Ballot for the June 23, 2020 elections. By Executive Order of the Governor, anyone may select "Temporary Illness" as their reason for requesting an Absentee Ballot if they have been affected by COVID-19 or have the potential of contracting the virus (i.e. almost everyone).

How:

In order to accommodate this additional demand, you can now request your absentee ballot in NYC online! Click here to look up your voter record - it takes less than two minutes to request your ballot. Once the form is complete, your ballot will be mailed to you in the coming weeks. Click here for more information or to request an Absentee Ballot via email, fax, mail, or phone.

When:
You must postmark, apply online, email, or fax your completed application for the Primary Absentee Ballot by June 16, 2020. Ballots will be mailed beginning on/after May 8. If you do not have a primary in your district, you will not receive a ballot.

If you've already requested an Absentee Ballot, great! You can still take action - help spread the word to ensure other members of your community are able to exercise their right to vote in June's primary.
