#BLACKTRANSLIVESMATTER
There is no Pride for some of us without the liberation of all of us.
The month of June is Pride month, a celebration and remembrance of the Stonewall Riots of 1969. This year more than ever it is important to remember that without the work of black and brown trans women, there would be no Pride. Black LGBTQ people, especially transgender and gender non-conforming people, exist at the intersection of multiple forms of oppression (racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia).
