Elected Officials Attend Packed LID Debate Watch Party
More than 60 people joined LID for night one of the second Democratic Debate, including long-time LID members Assembly Member Jo Anne Simon and District Leader Member Josue Pierre.
Throughout the two and a half hour broadcast, moderate and progressive candidates clashed and sparred over the right path for the Democratic Party. Debate watchers reserve particular enthusiasm for Senators Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders and author Marianne Williamson, the debate’s breakout star.
